Common Questions

How much to do [service]?

Unfortunately, there isn't a one-price-fits-all for most of our services. Pricing depends on your home/office, what brands + products are used, and how long the job takes. Reach out to us, we'll ask a few questions, then we'll send a quote.

How come your prices are higher than [company]?

Because this is how much it costs. Products aren't cheap nor is labor. We charge manufacturer prices on nearly every product and have a set labor cost. Every estimate breaks down the cost of the entire job, so you know what you're paying for, and it includes every piece of equipment you'll need.

Remember, you get what you pay for. We've gone back to places that chose the lower-cost company and ended up doubling what they were expected to pay. Some companies aren't charging you the full amount until after the job is done. You're hit with another bill and it now costs more than you expected. Keep that in mind when you're shopping around. Compare estimates to make sure you're getting what you think you should be.

Do I really need [product] or [service]?

If it's on the estimate, yes. Feel free to ask us about anything on your estimate. We'll be happy to elaborate.

If it's suggested to you before or during the job, the answer is threefold. Yes, but not always, but it's probably optional. We may suggest a Wattbox surge protector outlet because it's safer, but it's not required for the job (unless it's in the estimate).

However, be aware sometimes we may have to add a service or product in the middle of a job that is required. Your tech will let you know if it's optional or not.

We're not a high-pressure sales company. We want to give you what you want.

Can I purchase the products elsewhere and have you install them?

Yes! It's not our favorite option, but we likely will. Please know that our installation services are not free. It may cost you more to have us come out just to install the products than if you had purchased them from us.

For example, some TVs come with free installation. If you had purchased one of those TVs that has free installation, you'd only pay for the TV. Now you're paying for the TV and no less than $250 for installation.

If you purchase the products from us, we have a much larger catalog of brands than many of your big box stores. So, reach out to us before purchasing anything!

Will you use the TV mount I purchased?

Yes, but all of our TV mounting services include a basic tilt mount with the option to upgrade.

We prefer to install the mounts we have in-house, as our technicians are well trained with those. It'll cost you about the same anyway. If using our mount, that's included in the estimate. If using your mount, extra time may be included in your estimate because they'll need it to figure out how to put your mount together.

Why do you require a 50% deposit?

It's to hold your appointment and purchase any products needed. We use the deposit as your confirmation to use our services and the acceptance of the estimate.
